A good-looking quote tells you very little. These questions tell you a lot.
What waterproofing do you use under the tiles, and how many coats?
One thin coat is where many leaks start.
How will you slope the floor to the drain?
Water should run away, not sit against the walls.
Who does the tiling and the electrics?
Know who it is and whether they're qualified.
Will I get the price, the timings and the guarantee in writing?
If it isn't written down, it isn't agreed.
Will the fittings I've chosen work with my plumbing?
Better to find out at the survey than on fitting day.

Most fitters are judged on the finish, and the finish is usually fine. The trouble starts behind it: the waterproofing, the slope on the floor, the pipework inside the wall. That's where bathrooms fail, and it's the part nobody checks until water finds its way out.
So that's where we start. Every bathroom and wet room we fit is waterproofed and plumbed as if we'll be the ones called back to it. You get one person running the whole job, a straight answer when the cheaper option is fine, and a home that's cleaned down every evening.

How much does a new bathroom or wet room cost?
Three things set the price: the size of the room, how much of the existing plumbing can stay, and the finish you choose. That's why we survey first and quote in writing. What we won't do is give you a number over the phone and then find reasons to raise it.
Will my house be a mess?
No. Dust sheets go down every morning and the working area is cleaned every evening. Your home is somewhere you live, not our site.
Do you do small jobs, or only bathrooms?
Both. A dripping tap or a leaking radiator valve is as welcome as a full refit. Call or text and we'll tell you when we can come.
What happens if something goes wrong afterwards?
Your guarantee is set out in your written quote, and you'll have Joe's own number, 07427 031205, not a call centre.
